Thirteen years ago when Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Craig Hatkoff founded the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, they, probably, couldn't have imagined that it would not only become one of the largest festivals in the country, if not in the world, to showcase feature and documentary films from both known and unknown filmmakers, but that it would also become a place to be seen and heard by the experimental and interactive filmmakers. The Tribeca Film Festival came a long way since it's inception as a response to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.
