"I can't do city life anymore," says Jessie Baylin, jokingly, even though the East Coast native grew up in New Jersey and used to live in Tribeca. Baylin is based in Nashville now with her daughter and husband , but this week brought her back to New York to support her new album, Dark Place , with a show at the Bowery Ballroom and an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers .
